Frequent Questions

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a new client hires our firm, we grant access to our secure client portal to keep all information secure and away from any prying eyes. The process depends on whether the case is amicable (both sides are in agreement on all issues) or we need to file the divorce or paternity (custody) case to protect our client's best interest. In most cases, we schedule the client to meet with our paralegal to gather all necessary information needed to draft the initial documents. The next step is to meet with your attorney to review the documents before everything is filed. From time to time there will be additional work done in your case, but we will be on top of all deadlines and will help you along the way.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed my juris doctor at the University of Miami, School of Law in Miami, Florida. I am eligible to practice law in the State of Florida and hold a Florida Bar License since 2006.
  • Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My firm has different packages for clients depending on how involved their case is as well as how many issues need to be resolved. At my firm, you will always have access to your attorney and your attorney will know your name and your case.
  • How did you get started in this business?
I have handled divorces since 2008 and overtime I realized too many women and men thought their divorce was the end of their life. I think divorce is the beginning because you get to write your next best life! Sometimes our clients have given so much to their family and children that they think they don't matter. You do! You deserve to be happy no matter what happens and there is a way to start over. Are you wishing your life was different? That you had chosen a different partner for your life? During divorce you get to decide what matters to you and how you will get it.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
My firm has helped hundreds of men and women through uncontested divorce, contested divorce, litigation cases, dividing businesses, helped fathers establish rights over their children, increase quality and quantity of time with children and many other types. We help entrepreneurs, professionals, first responders, teachers, nurses, architects, engineers, IT professionals, military and veterans. We help the LGBT community as well.
  • Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My firm is passionate about protecting our client's children, their rights and property. We were hired by the ex wife to enforce a parenting plan and we succeeded in court. A well written parenting plan protects and prevents misunderstandings. My firm is passionate about helping unmarried men have or build a relationship with their children. We recently helped a father through a child support issue by obtaining overnight visits (time sharing) with his little girl that he did not see for over 8 months.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My advise is to research the attorney through the Florida Bar Association to make sure the attorney is licensed to practice divorce (matrimonial) law and family law. Review their website to make sure divorce and family law is their main area of law. Someone who practices door law (aka handles any type of case) may not have the knowledge needed to represent someone in family court. Finally, review the reviews that are available for that attorney as former clients will share their experience with the attorney, their staff and the process.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
My best clients knew they needed help with their family problem, followed our attorney's recommendation and took care of their own well being to h adle the stress of court. Anyone looking for an attorney for an uncontested divorce, complex divorce, division of assets, custody, child support, paternity, or any other family legal matter, needs to choose an experienced attorney with whom they have a good chemistry.
